Peggy Dow – 93 Years Old

Peggy Dow’s name might not ring a bell to you, but under other circumstances, she could have become a Hollywood icon. She originally worked as a model until she signed a 7-year contract with Universal. During her 3-year-career, Dow appeared in nine films, with her last being the 1951 movie, I Want You. She later married an oil tycoon named Walter Helmerich III and engaged in business herself. They stayed together until his death in 2012. She’s now dedicated herself in the preservation of libraries and many other humanitarian causes.
