Tom Lehrer – 93 years old
Tom Lehrer’s songs are unique in that they bordered on humor and satire, which made them refreshing hits in the 50s and 60s. Before that, however, he earned a university degree in mathematics in the mid-40s, studying to become a teacher of the subject. He pursued the profession while maintaining a successful musical career, which is truly a rare feat.
