Today’s younger generation may know the musician Bobby Bare Jr., but he is only following in the footsteps of his father, Bobby Bare, the country and folk singer behind hits like 500 Miles Away From Home and Detroit City, to name a few. He actually started with a career in movies, but preferred to pursue his country music career later on.
