Wanda Jackson is the undisputed queen and first lady of rockabilly music, according to her many fans. She is also a pioneer in the rock and roll genre, enjoying success from the mid-50s and 60s, to this very day. Wanda then switched to mainstream country in the 70s, where she also enjoyed some success. She quietly lives in Oklahoma City, but occasionally resurfaces to receive awards. Wanda officially retired in 2019.
