Carl Weathers – 75 Years Old

It isn’t too often that you hear of a professional football player leaving the sport to take up a career in Hollywood! This was the case for Carl Weathers, who formerly played for the BC Lions from 1971 until 1974. He found his true calling, though, when he played boxer ‘Apollo Creed’ in the Rocky movies, a role which got his earnings to grow exponentially. It helped that he had the body and the discipline to take on the job, too. He even appeared in a Michael Jackson video, for his hit, Liberian Girl. Weathers is currently filming, working on an upcoming TV series called The Mandalorian.
