Bobby Sherman – Age 79

With his good looks and vocal ability, it’s no surprise that Bobby Sherman became the poster boy of the 60s and 70s. At the height of stardom, though, the teen idol made a life-changing career switch that altered his life forever.

Sherman jumpstarted his Hollywood dream on TV as a member of ABC’s variety show ‘Shindig!’ He was then cast in another series, ‘Here Comes the Bride,’ earning him more screaming fans. During those times, he also made his introduction to the Pop scene with a string of classic hits such as ‘Little Woman.’ In the mid-70s, however, the heartthrob surprised many by retiring from show business to pursue a day job as an EMT and, later on, deputy sheriff.
