The younger generation may recognize her better as Aunt Marge in ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’ but Pam Ferris, with an extensive discography that spans over five decades, is an acting powerhouse who essays challenging characters with effortless ease. Her portrayal of the terrifying headteacher in ‘Matilda’ and the humble and kind Sister Evangelina in ‘Call the Midwife’ shows her versatility. Age hasn’t slowed down Pam one bit as she continues to immerse herself in her passion, giving us memorable performances one after another. A few years ago, as a lover of dogs, she joined the ‘Blue Cross’ as an ambassador, doing her bit to improve their lives.
