Throughout her long career, singer and actress Janis Paige vacillated between Hollywood and Broadway and enjoyed massive popularity in both until she decided to retire. Despite having lived a private life for many decades now, she still makes headlines from time to time. In early 2000, it was reported that she was in recovery for massive damage to her precious vocal chords. She also came out in support of the #MeToo movement in 2017 when she made claims that she was assaulted at age 22 by businessman Alfred Bloomingdale.
