One take

With a movie called Dirty Dancing, audiences would naturally expect some stellar dance moves. It did not disappoint. In fact, its climactic “lift” has become one of the most iconic scenes of all time and has been replicated in later movies and even art prints. While the movie showed the 2 main characters practicing the lift over and over and failing many times, the final one was actually done in one take without a rehearsal. Very impressive, indeed!
