Equally as iconic to the movie itself is, no doubt, its theme song—I’ve Had the Time of My Life by Jennifer Warnes and Bill Medley, of The Righteous Brothers fame. Audiences will remember it as the song that Baby and Johnny danced to in the climactic final scene. It was so popular that it won an Academy Award and remains a classic to this day. Needless to say, it’s one song that fattened up a lot of bank accounts.
