Doris Day and Terry Melcher – In their Teens

When America’s sweetheart Doris Day was 20 years, she gave birth to her only child, Terry Melcher. Melcher grew up not following an acting career, instead he pursued another passion he inherited from his mom, which was music. Melcher is considered as one of the founders of the California Sound and Folk Rock music genres. He even produced albums of the very popular group, The Beach Boys. Sadly, Melcher did not live to see his mom turn 96 in 2018, as he died of Melanoma at age 62 in 2004.
