Mercy James – Daughter of Madonna

Mercy James is one of Madonna’s six children and one of four from adoption. Although the singer has successfully adopted from Africa before, she hit some difficulty when she adopted Mercy James in Malawi in 2009, when the court refused her petition. It definitely helped to have a hefty bank account as she funded a pediatric hospital in the country, which really helped her case.
