Merilyn’s acting contract came a year later along with her famous stage name. She has minor roles and was trained in acting along the way, and her breakthrough came in the ’50s. Marilyn is best known from Some Like It Hot, The Seven Year Itch, and many others. She died in 1962, from a Barbiturate overdose. She owned $10M at the time, translated to $57M today.
