Cher: ~ $45 million, Malibu
This 14,000-square-foot home has been featured on Architectural Digest. At the time, it belonged to singer Cher and she was very proud of it. The house was an Italian Renaissance-style villa that was beautifully designed and gave a lovely view of the Pacific Ocean. Cher owned it for three years, existing in the lap of luxury, then she put it up for sale in 2008 for all of $45M. It sat on the market until 2013 when singer Beyoncé gathered her resources in her accounts and bought it for this asking price. Cher’s album Dancing Queen of 2018 entered the Billboard 200 charts at number three.
