Joni Mitchell is a Canadian-born singer-songwriter who has been impacting the world since the ’60s. She is one of the most independent female recording artists. When Mitchell started, she spectacularly presented herself with her unique music rendition. The emergence of new trends didn’t sway the music icon as she stayed true to herself. Although she became inactive early this century, she returned with an album in 2007, which shows that her time has not come to retire fully.
