Eileen Derbyshire – Born in 1930

The incredibly talented actor Eileen Derbyshire has lived for over nine decades, but there is still no sign of retirement just yet. As the record-holder for the longest-serving character in the television series ‘Coronation Street,’ she is praised for her greatness as an artist. Eileen has worked tremendously hard on-screen for more than 60 years. Still, she is a very private person who rarely talks about her personal life and is more focused on her career than fame. In 2021, Eileen sadly lost the love of her life to Alzheimer’s, but she remains strong and spends a lot of time with her son and three grandchildren.
