Was it a bad decision?

As we all know, Dirty Dancing became a huge success in the box office. At some point, there was talk of a sequel. There were even claims that Patrick Swayze was offered a staggering $6 million to star in the sequel, but he turned it down because he doesn’t like doing sequels, even if it meant increasing his net worth substantially. He did, however, agree to do the 2004 prequel, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights.
