Although the well-known actress Maggie Smith has had a long and distinguished professional career, her most popular role is perhaps Minerva McGonagall, a professor from the Harry Potter films. She’s among the UK’s most outstanding talents and has taken home a couple of Academy Awards over the years. For quite some time, she’s been acting on the TV show Downtown Abbey as Violet Crawley. She will be reprising her role in the 2019 film version of the TV show, which is now being filmed. Based on the large viewership of the said show, the film should be a good investment.
