Director Quentin Tarantino has made the claim that actress Pam Grier may have been the very first female to play a starring role in an action film. You might be shocked to find out that she’s 69 as she looks like she’s 59 at the most. Grier was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer in ’88. The doctors told her that she only had a short time left to live. However, like a miracle, she recovered and has been in remission. She is in the 2019 film Poms, which is now in post-production.
